Return your StrokeInk device within 30 days of delivery, in original packaging and condition, for a full refund minus return shipping.
Subscription: cancel anytime
Cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account settings. You keep access until the end of the current billing period.
1. Overview
We want you to be happy with your StrokeInk. If the device doesn't work for you, we offer a straightforward return process within 30 days. If your subscription isn't a fit, you can cancel anytime.
This Refund Policy explains the conditions, time frames, and process for hardware returns and subscription cancellations.
2. Hardware returns
You may return the StrokeInk device for a refund if all of the following apply:
- The return is requested within 30 days of the original delivery date
- The device is in its original condition (no scratches, damage, or excessive wear)
- All original packaging and included accessories (cable, documentation, mount) are returned
- The device has not been tampered with, opened, or modified
Refund amount: We refund the full purchase price of the device to your original payment method. Original shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable. You are responsible for return shipping costs.
Restocking fee: No restocking fee for devices returned in like-new condition. Devices returned with visible wear, missing accessories, or damaged packaging may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20% at our discretion.
Final-sale items: Limited edition releases, customized devices, and gift cards are non-refundable.
3. Defective or DOA devices
If your device arrives damaged, defective, or fails to power on within the first 30 days, contact us immediately for a free replacement.

- We ship a replacement at no cost once we receive the defective unit
- If a replacement is not available, you may opt for a full refund instead

4. Damaged in shipping
If your shipment arrives with visible damage to the packaging or device, document it with photos before opening if possible, and contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement at no cost to you and file the appropriate claim with the carrier.
5. How to request a hardware refund
Email us
Send a refund request to hello@strokeink.com with the subject "Refund Request" and include your order number.
Receive return instructions
We'll reply within 2 business days with a return authorization (RMA) number and the return address. Don't ship the device back without an RMA — unauthorized returns may be refused.
Ship it back
Pack the device in its original packaging with all accessories. Include the RMA number with the package. Use a trackable shipping service — we recommend insurance.
Receive your refund
Once we receive and inspect the device, we'll process your refund within 5–10 business days. Refunds appear on your original payment method (depending on your bank, may take additional time to show).
6. Subscription cancellations & refunds
You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time:
- Go to Account Settings → Subscription → Cancel in the StrokeInk app
- Or email hello@strokeink.com with your account email
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep full Pro access until then.
Refunds for subscriptions: Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods.
Exceptions where we will refund:
- Billing errors (e.g., charged twice for the same period)
- Pro features were unavailable due to a documented Service outage
- Where required by applicable consumer protection law
App Store and Google Play subscriptions are managed through those platforms. Refund requests for subscriptions purchased through Apple or Google must be submitted directly to them.
7. Free trial
If you signed up for a free trial of Pro, you can cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged. If you do not cancel, your subscription will automatically begin at the end of the trial period and your payment method will be charged.
8. Refund processing time
Once approved, refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days. The time for the refund to appear on your statement depends on your payment method and bank:
- Credit card: 3–10 business days
- Debit card: 5–14 business days
- Apple Pay / Google Pay: 3–7 business days (varies by linked account)
If you don't see your refund after the expected time frame, contact your bank first. If they confirm no pending refund, email us.
9. Consumer rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law, including the right to a refund or remedy where required by law.
